Abstract: By specific data and experiments, the paper states following points. The paper briefly introduces the development of world greenhouses and analyses and compares the differences between the traditional management and the management by microcomputer. By above comparison it proves that the application of single board computer anb single chip computer to the greenhouse management is feasible. After analysing the social and economic benefits of greenhouse facilities, the paper makes suggestions of the development of Chinese greenhouse industry.
