    A Study on the Drying Property of Breaking Drum Dryer for High-moisture Materials

    • 摘要: 为解决鸡粪污染和鸡粪资源开发利用问题,设计了一种滚筒破碎烘干机,研究了破碎轴转速对干燥性能的影响以及滚筒内的温度分布规律,并依此确定了滚筒的长径比、滚筒材料以及烘干机的主要运行参数,取得了较好的效果。

       

      Abstract: One of the important methods for raising thermal efficiency is breaking lumps when high-moisture materials such as chicken manure are to be dried. Therefore, we have designed a breaking drum dryer with a rotating disintegration device. This device is a long axle (breaking axle) with some breaking blades. When the axle rotates at high speed, the material lumps are further broken into granules. The rolling direction of the axle is the same as that of the drum.The curve of the dryer' s drying property has a sudden drop in the middle with a level end. When the drum reaches a certain rolling speed, the sudden drop in the curve starts significantly earlier and the level part becomes longer with the acceleration of the rolling speed of the breaking axle. It proves that the thermal efficiency can be improved much more by raising the rolling speed of breaking axle than by increasing the length of the drum. The results of tests show that the suitable rolling speed of breaking axle is 180~250 r/min.In adopting the quick-drying method with hot temperature, the temperature curve in the drum drops following the direction of moving materials, first suddenly then gently. It shows that once the high-moisture material is put into the drum, it causes a sudden drop in the temperature. Therefore, heat-resistant and antiseptic materials are only needed at the drum' s inlet.
