    Application of Machine Vision to Quality Evaluation of Agricultural Seed Resources

    • 摘要: 我国农作物种子资源丰富,随着图像处理技术的专业化与计算机硬件成本的下降和速度的提高,利用机器视觉技术进行种子质量检验评价成为可能。该文概述了农作物种子的特性及其对质量检验技术的要求,介绍了机器视觉技术的基本理论和发展现状,从算法、硬件、研究进展几个方面综述了机器视觉技术在农作物种子质量检验中的应用,认为用机器视觉代替人的视觉进行农作物种子质量检验前景广阔。

       

      Abstract: China is rich in agricultural seed resources, with the specialization of image processing technique, the decrease of the cost of computer hardware, and the heightening of the speed of computer, the application of machine vision technique to quality evaluation of seed resources has become possible. In the paper, we briefly explain the special property of agricultural seed resources and the demand of quality evaluation. The basic theory and the development status of machine vision are introduced. The application of machine vision to quality evaluation of agricultural seed resources is summarized in aspects of the development of algorithm, hardware and applied research. The application of machine vision technique instead of human vision to quality evaluation of agricultural seed resources has vast prospect.
