    Relationships between yield, quality and CWSI of cotton under drip irrigation with mulch

    • 摘要: 通过田间试验,研究了膜下滴灌棉花的作物产量、品质和作物缺水指标(CWSI)定量关系。确定了充分供水条件下作物各生育阶段缺水指标下基线的特定表达形式,建立了作物缺水指标(CWSI)和空气饱和差(VPD)的定量关系,并提出了用CWSI诊断作物水分状况的适用性及最佳观测时间。对不同水分处理棉花的CWSI在生育期内进行了定期观测,得到了各处理棉花CWSI的平均值以及与棉花耗水量、皮棉产量、水分利用效率、绒长、衣分率及单铃重的关系。结果表明,除衣分率外,其余指标最优值对应的CWSI值在0.4左右。因此,可利用作物缺水指标对膜下滴灌棉花进行高效的水分管理。

       

      Abstract: A field study was conducted to determine the relationships between Crop Water Stress Index(CWSI), yield, and quality of cotton under drip irrigation with mulch. The lower baseline formula of cotton CWSI under full water supply at different growth stages of cotton was determined. The relationship between CWSI and vapour saturation deficiency (VPD) was analyzed. And the applicability and and optimal time for assessing crop water status using CWSI were put forward. Based on regular observation of cotton CWSI at cotton growth stage under drip irrigation with mulch in different water treatments, the realationships between arerage values of CWSI and water consumption, lint yield, water use efficiency, bell weight, gin turnout and velvet length were studied. The results showed that a suitable CWSI value of 0.4 was proposed for irrigation scheduling of dripped cotton with an infrared thermometer method except gin turnout. Hence, the CWSI could be used in cotton field water management.
