CHINESE FIREWOOD SAVING STOVES—ITS SITUATION AND EFFECT ON RURAL ENERGY

Based on the work of a research group on firewood saving stoves of the Farm Machinery Department of Zhejiang University of Agriculture, this article explaines the features of four types of Chinese firewood-saving stoves they are suitable for rural areas of China. It also shows the present situation of rural energy consumption and current stove types used by farmers in China. This article concludes that it is a very efficient way to deal with the agricultural energy problems by spreading firewood saving stoves in rural areas.
