RESEARCH ON THE SOLAR COLLECTION AND STORAGE WITH ROCKBED SYSTEM

Hot air solar heating system finds wide uses in agriculture. Among the various sensible heat and phase change storage units used in solar air system, rockbed has various technically and econmically advantageous. This paper introduces an experimental research on a solar rockbed system, in which the collector and the storage unit are put together, with the evaluation of the heat characteristics of the system. Based on the experimental results, a mathematical analysis model has been set up. And a numerical simulation of several factors has been done, which influences the temp erature distribution in the rockbed.
