EXPLORING THE NEW STRATEGY OF AGRICULTURAL MODERNIZATION AFTER A COURSE OF ITS PROGRESS-- The Experiences of Doudian Village, Fangshan District, Beijing, PRC.

The contents of agricultural modernization must be timely.Today, due to sharp increasing of the counter action of the nature to mankind, the ideas about both the mature and manhind themselves are changing radically, So the guiding theories of agriculture should be added a new subject---agroecology. Taking the agricultural modernization process of Doudian village as an example, we elaborated the necessity of emphasizing the ecological aspects in agricultural modernization process, expressed opinions about the new connotation of agricultural modernization, and pointed out that eco-agriculture would not be vital if it did not meet modernized standards in conditions, levels and efficiencies of production. At the same time, the ways of intensifying by means of ecological engineering and technogy were discussed. At the end of the paper, three enlightening guidances obtained by studying durying last 11 years at Doudian were also mentioned.
