LAND USE AND PLANNING IN NANJING—ZHENJIANG—YANGZHOU HILLY REGION, JIANGSU PROVINCE

The NANJING-ZHENJIANG-YANGZHOU hilly region located in the south part of Jiangsu province is an agricultural region with high yield of our country. In order to make a reasonable settlement of the population growth, economical development and the limitation of land, on the basis of the investigations of the peculiarity of regional land resources, present situation of the land utilzation and the existing problems, text has analysed the tendency of the social-economic development and the landutilization. Finally, the ideas of reasonable land utilization and construction and the planning of the focal points of the development and utilization have been suggested.
