RHEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS FOR HONEYS ON NANJING MARKET (3)——Thixotropie properties for Honeys

Tests are made concerning thixotropic properties for eight different kinds of Nanjing honeys with rotational viseometer model NXS-11. It is found that nearly no hysterisis loop be occurred and that the viscosity decreases very little with time of disturbance. Evidently the thixotropic properties for these honeys are extremely insignificant, This conclusion is consistent with the fact that the apparent viscosities for these honeys are relatively too low, as reported in "Rheological Characteristics for Honeys on Nanjing Market(2)".
