The paper states following points:Agricultural building and structure engineering is a branch of agricultural engineering science. The modern agriculture needs the environmental control for its production. Agricultural buildings and structures are the guarantee of the agricultural productive environments. Therefore, the agricultural building and structure engineering should place on the order of the day in China.The productive buildings and structures such as poultry and animal raising houses, different types of greenhouse, storage houses for different agricultural products, etc. are the essential targets for agricultural architects to study and design. To train high level agricultural architects and well trained technicians and workers should pay great attention too.Even though, Chinese agricultural engineers established this branch science of agricultural architecture already, yet it is only ten years old. Chinese agricultural architecture engineers deeply hope to contact with engineers of the same occupation of different countries in order to learn the advanced experiences from them and exchange experience, knowledge, know-how and all the technics in the field of agricultural buildings and structures.
