Presemt Academic Activities of Agricultural Mechanization and Its Facing Challenges

Firstly, the academic activities, with a great effect on Agricultural mechanization in China since its foundation in 1979, have been briefly introduced. Some challenges facing us are then discussed, including that some of research achievements are only academic "model" rather than the model of the real world and that the intersting of research emphasizes on the copy of the new approaches. Lastly, it is advocated that we should face the problems rather than the mathematics tools in our pocket.
