Initial Research on Reducing Soil Adhesion of Body Surface Shapes of the Typical Soil Animals

    • The specific property of unadhering soil of animals living in soil has a important significance for bionic research on reducing adhesion and scouring soil of terrain-machines.In this paper, the body surface shapes of the typical soil animals such as Pangolin, mole cricket, ant and dung beetle etc.are observed and researched by stereo-microscope and scanning electro microscope. The results observed and researched indicate that the soil animals as mentioned above have body surface structure of wave corrugated form, and mech anism of reducing adhesion and scouring soil is analyzed by means of a corrugated surface model.
