    Constitution of Pangolin Scales and Mechanism of Reducing Adhesion of Soil to Their Cuticle

    • Obser vation and analysis snow that scares or pangonn are benencial to leaucing adne-sion of soil to pangolin bidy. Chemical constituents of pangolin scales are analysed by applying techniques of XPS and SEM. X-ray diffraction spectrum of the scales is tested and the Kinds of amino acids in the scales are detected by the technique of XRD with an analyser of amino acids. Constitution of the scales is determined by means of the linear refining of diffraction intensity. The relationship between constitution of pangolin scales and mechanism of reducing adhesion of soil to their cuticle is analysed preliminarily.
