Preliminary Research on theComposition of Agricultural Engineering Systemand the Index System for EvaluatingIts Development Level

    • It is advanced from the view of Chinese conditions, implementation possibilities and management requirements that agricultural engineering system should be acomposed of five sections, seven subsystems, and eight main concrete engineerings. Authors deem that the development level of agricultural engineering in different places may be evaluated from the following seven main aspects: implementation level, equipment level, composition level, science and technology education level, system construction level, input level and benefit level. The paper suggests that a corresponding evaluation index system should be set up for preliminary evaluation, the system including twelve one-level indexes or five important indexes. The ideas proposed present a reference for agricultural engineering planning and theoritical reseach and management decision-making.
