A Development of Air - Pruning Tray Seedling Growing and Transplanting System

Container seedling growing and transplanting system is better in the yield than plant bed seedling growing and bare root seedling transplanting system and the air - pruning tray seedling growing and transplanting system is better in the yield than conventional tray seedling growing and transplanting system.The principle and advantages of air - pruning tray seedling growing system are introduced and analysed in this paper.Based on Dr.Barney K.Huang's eight patents, the authors develop the commercial products of air -pruning tray seedling growing and transplanting system, including air - pruning seedling growing tray, compressed peat pellet, mechanical precision automatic tray seeder and fully - automatic precision transplanter. These products are introduced in detail in this paper.
