Drying Characteristics of Flammulina Velutipes Sing and Drying Model

Abstract
An experimental dryer was designed and used for thin layer drying studies of Flammulina Valutipes Sing. Data were obtained in 8 drying conditions involving wind speed 1~3m / s, temperature 40~70℃, relative humidity 16~30% RH. Two mathematical models eveluated to fit data were: Diffusion model and Page equation. The Page equation was found to be more suitible in describing the drying characteristics of single layer of Flammulina Valutipes Sing: By means of analysis on drying rate, energy consumption and quality of production dried for Fammulina Velutipes Sing, 48℃, 2m / S in different drying conditions experimented were found to be better.
