    A Study on the Latent Heat Transfer of Water and Keeping Fresh of Fruits and Vegetables by UNCR

    • Basing on a group of experiments of utilizing natural cooling resources in winter season (UNCR for short)in Beijing, put forward a preliminary plan on preserving fruits and vegetables by UNCR in North China. At first, by analysing the outdoor experiment of naturally freezing ice which stores cooling resources,a simple and easy mathematical model was set up to calculate the heat transfer and phase change of water in natural cold wind. Then through small scale experiments on storing fruits and vegetables by UNCR the significant and bright application prospect of this new kind of method to family preservation was confirmed. In the paper,parts of the experimental results of the largest storage of fruits and vegetables by UNCR in the world were also reported.
