Experiment on Comparing Cage Rearing of Three-stage Type with Floor Rearing on Broiler Breeding Bird

By comparing the cage rearing of three-stage type with floor rearing,the results showed that the cage rearing survival rates of 0～6 week-old chicken,7～23 week-old chicken and 24～68 week-old chicken were 3. 12%(P<0. 01),5. 9%(P<0. 01),and 2. 45%(P<0. 05) higher than floor rearing respectively. The regularity of 23 week-old chicken body weight was 17. 2% higher than floor rearing (P<0. 01). The feed consumption of 68 week -old chicken was 5.0kg less than floor rearing. The laying amount of 68 week-old chicken was 2. 7 egg/hen (P<0. 05) and the rate of certified egg was 0.1% higher than floor rearing (P>0. 05). The fertility rate of the egg was 8% higher than floor rearing.
