    The Study on a New Design Animal Waste Dryer with High Efficiency and Less Energy Consumption

    • Nowadays, the environment pollution in industrialized and centrialized animal farms is very serious. The utilization of animal wastes is not reasonable. The drying material often sticks to the wall of conventional animal waste dryers. So a new kind of dryer used in drying animal wastes with three layers of revolving cylinder is studied in this paper. The inner construction and technology parameters of the dryer is determined through calculation and analysis. The results show that this new kind of dryer require 15~20 percentage less energy and one third less ground area than conventional dryer with only one layer of revolving cylinder,the wall temperature of the inner revolving cylinder is higher than that of conventional dryers as the inlet air temperature is the same,thereby the aim of stickproof can be reached.
