    Computer Simulation on Germ Separating from Grits by Inertia in Airflow

    • Degermination and debulling of corn are important processes in the production of dry-milled corn. Based on experiments, the study on degerminating of corn was carried out by means of computer simulation. The optimal parameters were got, which were proved perfectly by the experiments. A new kind of degermination machine was conceived and manufactured. The productivity of the machine is 300 kg/h. The rate of pure corn grits is beyond 65%. Germ content in pure corn grits is below 1 %.
