Study on Purification of Feces, Effluent, Water and Air From Poultry Houses

The studies were aimed at the finding of feasible models and technologies of contamination treatment to remove feces, waste water and air pollution of the environment in order to develop intensive animal husbandry. After treatment the COD_Cr, BOD₅.SS,S^2- and Cu²⁺ of the sewage fall respectively to and under 98. 4 mg/L, 49. 6 mg/L , 51. 49 mg/L, 1. 0 mg/L and 0. 6 mg/L. "Jiang-Man Purifier" made of a kind of volatile medicinal herbs was used for purifing waste air. The densities of NH₃ and H₂S in the animal house were reduced by 73. 9 /i and 85.8% . and their concentration reduced to 15. 0 mL/m³ and 2. 8 mL/m³ respectively. The number of bacteria was reduced by 70. 3%.
