The Mechanism of Rain Water Effective Utilization of the “High Yield Ditch”

The “covered and storing water ditch for high yield” is a new technology of making full use of rain water in agriculture, which combines the blocking, diverting, storing and remaining the rain water,together. First, this paper introduces the composition, standard, structure form, constructing procedure and the claim of the "high yield ditch". Second, it expounds the diverting and storing rain mechanism of the "high yield ditch", and the ecological effects on the cultivated fields of the "high yield ditch". Finally, it proposes the problems for further research to make effective use of rain water.
