Design and Applications of Flexible Lining for Anti-adhesion

Abstract
In order to solve the problem of adhesion of viscous bulk materials to working components of excavating machines, loaders and transporters, a flexible lining with obvious anti-adhesion was designed on the basis of bionics principles and field tests of the lining applied for the wheel bucket of coal shovel gear, shovel bucket of excavating machine and scraper bucket of loader in practical conditions. This paper introduces methods of designing the lining, including structure features, linking methods, mechanical analysis, analysis of flexibility, analysis for leakage of bulk materials and computation of size of gaps between rings, linking direction, the arrangement of lining in buckets. The results of field tests are given.
