The New Type Pivoted Pin Calculation on the Articulation System of Wheel Loader

In this paper, the four typical calculation cases are presented for the articulation system of the wheel loader, the pivot-point forces for each case are formulated, the calculation model of the pivoted pin is set up, and the method is also given for analyzing the boundary force of the pivoted pin in finite element calculation. Taking ZL60E wheel loader as example, both results of finite element calculating and measuring are presented. The calculation is directed to design the pivoted pin.
