    Study on Stationary Turning Performance of Articulated Tracked Vehicles

    • The mathematical model and numerical method for analyzing the stationary turning performance of articulated tracked vehicles were presented in this paper. Turning trajectory non accuracy ratio and tractive force increase ratio were introduced as evaluating indices of turning performance and the affects of structure parameters on turning performance were analyzed. The experiments on an articulated tracked unit model were made to verify the analysis and the results accord well with the simulation results.
