Abstract
In this paper, the influences of structural factors such as torsional damping of transmission axle and half axle etc., on vehicle stability were studied, and the results showed that increasing the torsional damping of transmission axle and half axle can significantly increase vehicle stability. External factors influencing vehicle stability were also studied, and it was pointed that decreasing slope of adhesion coefficient with the increasing of wheel slip influences vehicle stability significantly. In addition, measures to control the self-excited vibration were discussed.
