    • The formation and development of China's Seed Program are reviewed. Features and system structure of the China's Seed Program are analysed. The China's Seed Program is an overall industrial entirely in certain scale being standardized, systemized and programmed involving seed research, production, processing, marketing and management. It targets at crop seeds with an aim to provide agriculture with commercialized seeds bearing outstanding biological characteristics.It also applies modern biological and engineering technology as well as agroeconomics theories and other scientific achievements. By means of sizing up the system of China's Seed Program, a rationalization proposal is put forward and some prospects are forecasted.
