    Microanalysis of the Biologically Active Ingredients in Red Ant (Formica Aquilonia)in Changbai Mountains

    • The extract of the red ant (Formica aquilonia)in Changbai mountains was analysed by redioimmunoassay(RIA)enzyme immunoassay(EIA)and enzyme labeled luminescence test(ELLT).The contents of minor biologically active ingredients were high in the ant.The results indicated that the red ant was of great importance on dietotherapy,and there is a hopeful prospect for exploiting it.
