Calculation Approach of the Chamber Volume in a PressureRegulated 　Irrigation System

An approach was established. The exponent of gaseous status inside the chamber,pump selection, pressureregulation range for various operation combinations of pumps,and the allowable onoff intervals of pumps were considered. The comparison between the proposed approach and the current ones showed that the former included more factors and could be extensively used to determine the volume of chamber for the pressureregulated irrigation systems. 
