Development of Cooling Technique for Swine Housing in Summer

Evaporative sprinkler system,evaporative pad and fan system and evaporative mist fog system and other cooling methods have been usually used to reduce interior air temperature in animal production facilities in China. Their recent development in application and the problems have been summarized and discussed in this paper. These cooling methods should be further improved, specially their use in open swine buildings in South of China should be studied.
