The Study on Transplanting Unit of the Mechanical Type AirPruning Tray Seedling Growing

The airpruning tray seedling growing(ATSG) and transplanting technology is better than conventional tray seedling growing and transplanting technology in the yield and the most important component in the fullyautomatic transplanter(FAT) of the ATSG is transplanting unit.The feeding and the dropping seedling of the FAT are completed by mechanical methods in this paper,the complex electric or pneumatic feeding seedling and suction pneumatic dropping seedling units in the FAT of the ATSG are simplified,and cost is also reduced.The performance tests of transplanting unit have showed that the performance of transplanting unit presented in this paper is satisfactory and can meet requirements in Chinese market.
