    Numerical Simulation of Rainfall Infiltration Under Different Field Engineering Measures

    • The infiltrations of rainfall in several engineering measures (notillage, tillage, cover and notillage, cover and tillage) were studied by means of numerical simulation and experiment. The formation of surface sealing under the hitting of rainfall and its effect on infiltration were considered. Cover preserves the property of infiltration of soil by avoiding the formation of surface sealing. Tillage makes the rainfall infiltration of soil increasing. The infiltrations of 120 minutes of the soils which were tilled or covered and tilled are 1.79 cm and 2.28 cm more than that of notilled respectively. The suitable tillage depth is 15~20 cm for nocovered soil and that with cover is 30 cm. The suitable field engineering method of increasing rainfall infiltration in field is tillage and cover, and the depth of tillage is 30 cm.
