Computer Controlling Variable Voltage Variable Frequency（VVVF） System for Ventilation in Chicken Houses

How to create a good environment of chicken house is one of the most valuable tasks in modern poultry raising. Pratice indicates that ventilation is an important measurement to control the environment in chicken house. In this paper computer and variable voltage variable frequency（VVVF） technology were successfully applied to ventilation. The hardware of this system included a detection circuit of temperature, humidity and ammonia gas, a extended circuit of 8031CPU and a VVVF circuit. The variables added method was used in the software of the system. On the basis of experiences from the specialist and many experiments from testing ground, the weighted coefficients of three coupling variables were gained. When this computer controlling VVVF system is wielded in AAD Broiler whose weekage is from five to eight in chicken house, compared the timer controlling system, the raising density and body weight are increased, the benefit rate of forage and livability of chicken are raised, at the same time, the power can be saved 41 ％.
