Experiment and Computer Simulation of Displacement andTraveling Speed of Agricultural Materials on Vibrating Board

Abstract
The traveling state of agricultural materials is related to the value of motion feature K(K=ω2R/g). The relative speed and displacement of the materials on vibrating board change with the difference of the value of K. There are many agricultural machines on which vibrating board was used to convey the agricultural materials. In this paper, an analysis was made on relative speed and displacement of agricultural materials on vibrating board without tossing motion, and the mathematical model on the relative speed and displacement was established and calculated with computers. Under the condition of the 4 mm long crank radius, 30° angle of friction and 24° vibration direction angle, the test was made about the average relative speed and displacement of dry grain on vibrating conveying test rig with the change of the slop angle of vibrating board from -20° to 20° and rotation speed of the crank from 200 to 700 r/min, and the curves of average relative speed were obtained. Compared the simulation results with actural test results, it was shown that the test value was closed to the simulation value. The model could be conveniently applied in the calculation of the relative speed and displacement in the different parameters and in the quantitative analysis of the motion state about the agricultural materials and optimal design on vibrating board.
