Nondestructive Evaluation for Maturity ofWatermelons by Vibration Method
In this paper, a hollow ball and a solid ball model were established for watermelons based on the analysis of their structural vibration characteristics. The models were verified through the comparison of finite element method and model test . The polygon shaped vibration modes were found to be a feature of matured watermelons.
