Study on Dynamics of Valve Train With Multimass Model

In this paper, by means of multimass model, the dynamic properties of valve train， such as the sitting velocity of valve, the impulse force of valve and the linkage separation， were discussed．The relationship of the properties with various structure parameters and cam profiles was analyzed. The results show that the different cam profiles suit different cam speeds． There is a certain matching relationship among the structure parameters, the cam speed and the cam profile．
