The Droplet Distribution on Apple Trees Atomized by an AirAssisted Sprayer

Airassisted sprayers can be used to promote the orchard spraying quality. Various factors, such as nozzle types, nozzle distribution, fan size, fan speed and sprayer position against targets, etc., determine the performance of an airassisted sprayer. All those factors were discussed in this paper on the basis of experiments and it is shown that the higher position of the fan, lower position of the nozzle and high speed of the spraying are good combination of the factors.
