Study on Spouted Bed With Cyclically Shifted Gas Stream
The kinetics of batchwise drying was studied in a spouted bed apparatus with cyclically shifted gas stream. Two types of particulate materials with large different physical properties, beet and wheat seeds, were used in the experiments. Based on the experiment results, the formulae for reducing moisture content in dependence on drying time and air temperature were developed.
