Abstract
This paper investigated the effects of the factors, such as soil moisture content, load, and load dwelling time and their interactions on the soil adhesion to solid surface of UHMWPE, quartz filled UHMWPE composite and 45 steel. The regression equation of soil adhesion strength and the factors as well as their interactions were obtained. The results showed that soil moisture content, normal load, load dwelling time, and their interactions had important influence on the soil adhesion. Among these factors, the soil moisture content was the leading factor, next one was the normal load and the load dwelling time. The regression equation between soil adhesion and these factors had a good fittness.
