Research on Increasing Unstripped Germ Rate of White Rice

Abstract
On the basis of numerous experiments, the influences of fourteen factors, such as the roller structure, rotation sieve frame, brush roller, moisture content of blown rice, and the times of whitening, on the rate of unstripped germ of white rice and rice quality were examined. The optimal parameters of an abrasive whitener and whitening procedure were obtained, thus the basis for exploiting new type whitener was provided.
