    Drought Remote Sensing Monitoring for Huanghuaihai Plain Based on GIS

    • The monitoring results in Huanghuaihai Plain showed that both the drought distribution and states from calculating are coincided with the objective situation in Huanghuaihai Plain. A method to monitor drought using crop water stress index which is based on GIS technology combined with remote sensing data, graph and meteorological data was presented. The experiment results indicated the method can be used to monitor drought dynamically and timely in plain.
