Quantitative and Automatic Evaluation Methods Supported by GIS of Agricultural Land

Abstract
GIS supported quantitative and automatic evaluation methods of agricultural land were presented. Based on GIS overlay model and the correspondence between map and its attribute database, using models of regression analysis and cluster analysis, the quantitative and automatic evaluation flow of classifying evaluation units, abstracting evaluation data, selecting identification factors and determining their weights and evaluating land grades were realized. With the case study at Kenli County of Shandong Province, considering the purpose of agricultural land natural quality evaluation, economic evaluation and potential evaluation, the evaluation criteria and technical method of each were discussed.
