Abstract
Due to the popular problems of unreasonable type selection and low design efficiency of leaf spring of agricultural transporter, the structural characteristics and performance of typical leaf springs were analyzed. The multi leaf spring and tapered leaf spring were selected as examples to explain the process of computer aided parameter design of leaf spring. By using the computer program developed by authors, the multi leaf spring for the front suspension of an agricultural transporter with loading capacity of 1.0 t was designed. The results show that design efficiency of leaf spring can be greatly improved by means of computer aided design.
