Physiological and Ecological Characteristics of Winter Wheat on the Condition of Sprinkle Irrigation

    • Based on the field experiments, the daily variations of photosynthesis rate and transpiration rate and water use efficiency(WUE) were compared on the condition of sprinkle irrigation and border flooding irrigation. The results showed that the field ecological environment could be obviously improved on the condition of sprinkle irrigation, the transpiration force potential was reduced and the transpiration rate could be finally decreased. The photosynthesis rate on the condition of sprinkle irrigation was higher than that on the condition of border flooding irrigation while the soil moisture content was similar. The WUE at leaf level and production level on the condition of sprinkle irrigation was higher than those on the condition of border flooding irrigation. The results showed that the sprinkle irrigation was an effective measure to improve the field ecological environment and to develop water-saving agriculture.
