    Investigation of Short Living Cavitation and Its Characteristics in Diesel Fuel Injection System

    • In this paper, by using He-Ne laser, high-speed camera and signal-collecting system, an investigation of short living cavitation in diesel fuel injection system was made. And the characteristics of pressure wave and pressure wave spectrum were analyzed when short living cavitation appeared in the diesel fuel injection system. By analysis of high-speed camera films, the reason of cavitation's cause in delivery chamber of fuel injection system and time of short living cavitation live were discussed.
