Concentrating Octacosanol by Using Supercritical CO2Extraction Technique
Concentration of octacosanol in extraction of wheat germ oils by supercritical CO2 was studied. Solubility of octacosanol in wheat germ oils was analyzed. The methods on raising octacosanol content in wheat germ oils by simple supercritical CO2 extraction and two-stage separation were put forward. The experiments achieved better results.
