Extracting Technique of Astragalus Polysaccharide(ASP)

As the method of water-extracting-ethanol-sediment was mostly adopted to the extracting of Astragalus Polysaccharide (ASP), the concentration of ethanol-sediment, methods of removing lipid and the ways deal with extracted liquid were discussed. Besides, the ASP extracting effects of ultrafiltration method was studied, and its optimal extracting process was given. The advantage and disadvantage of above two kinds of extracting methods were compared in the paper.
