    Solubility of α-Tocopherol(α-T) in Soybean Deodorized Sludge in Supercritical CO2

    • Tocopherol has very high physiological activity. Soybean deodorized sludge contains plentiful natural tocopherol. For next concentration of tocopherol from soybean deodorized sludge, solubility of α-tocopherol (α-T) in supercritical CO2 was studied. The results point out: 1) esterification raises solubility of α-T obviously; 2) solubility of α-T increases with system pressure; 3) solubility of α-T in materials without esterification increases with system temperature, and that with esterification decreases at first,then increases with system temperature. Above results were analyzed from hydrogen bond combination relation between α-T and fatty acid, coordinated action among solutes and operation parameters.
