Integrated Technique Systems for Dryland and Water Saving Farming and Mechanization in China

    • Considering the actual situations in the arid areas of China, integrated technique systems were advanced for dryland farming and water saving farming and mechanization, aiming at efficient use of water resources, by combining advanced agronomic techniques with proper agricultural implements and machinery. Four models and their key techniques and the equipment, suitable for the northwestern dryland in China, were suggested. The experimental results were used for the validation of the systems feasibility.
