    Research on Wear-Resistant Composite With Bionic Unsmooth Surface

    • The unsmoothed characteristics of living beings in soil are applied to the bionic design on wear-resistant composite. A bionic unsmoothed composite is made. The results showed that, the unsmoothed surface can change the ploughing to rolling when the surface are worn by abrasive. Under the condition of two bodies abrasive wear, the wear resistance of the wear-resistant composite with the bionic unsmoothed surface is 29 times as much as that of 45 steel. The wear-resistant composite with the bionic unsmoothed surface possesses characteristics such as excellent strength, plasticity and toughness. The thickness of composite layer can be adjusted arbitrarily according to the requirements of work. The researches open up a new way to enhance the wear resistance for the soil-parts.
